Batik-style button down shirts & sarongs feature a host of special marine designs, including mimic octopus, hammerheads and mandarinfish. Shirts are 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, fast-drying, wrinkle free and extremely durable - the perfect travel-wear during your cruise!

Seven Seas is now equipped with an AED

We are also pleased to announce that the Seven Seas is now equipped with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Did you know that when the heart stops, it can not be restarted by CPR alone? A defibrillator is your only chance of survival in the event of cardiac arrest on a liveaboard operating in remote areas far from appropriate medical care. Karl & Linda are both trained Emergency Responders.

Banda School Kids Education Program - Help Change Lives Forever

At the moment we sponsor over 50 under-privileged kids that otherwise would be growing up without an education. They all live on the slopes of a volcano in the Banda Islands. Most of them have lost parents and their families are squatters, not land owners. We are really opening up a whole new world to these kids and feel pretty good about the program and how it is all going.

Thanks to a generous donation from one of our guests, we are now able to start an extension of this program which will allow a very talented candidate from the group to go to university next year.

To have 1 child graduate with a degree in marine biology costs around $12,000 US from start to finish. This includes all accommodation, food, books ,computer and a trip back home each year. This also includes purchase of a bed and basic furniture for the room they will live in while attending university. Although we have almost half the necessary funds already, we still need to raise more money & all donations are greatly appreciated.

For further details about any subject raised in this newsletter or to make a donation to the Banda Education Program, please contact us via: [email protected]. We look forward to welcoming you (back) for (another) adventure aboard the Seven Seas!
