Raja Ampat Snorkelling: 2021 Jan 30 - Feb 11
We've had some superb trips late last year and early this year, with guests who just want to snorkel. And we all found it quite exciting to go out looking for new areas specifically for snorkelling. Shallow reefs, rocks, tops of drop offs, etc. Both in Komodo and in Raja Ampat this worked beyond expectations!
"My group had a phenomenal time snorkeling with Alex and the crew of the Seven Seas. Thank you for everything."
(Wendy Simon)
As announced previously, we will therefore be offering a few trips per year, in different parts of Indonesia, specifically geared to snorkelling, with some very shallow diving on the side, focusing on those special habitats and animals and plants, in an underwater world where the light is brightest!
The group of snorkelers we had in Raja Ampat earlier this year saw just as much as any divers will, and probably a bit more - specific to the shallow habitats we explored. All the big stuff like Sharks, Turtles, Mantas, schools of Jacks and Barracuda as well as the smaller critters such as Cuttlefish, Crocodile fish, Shrimp fish, etc. We even did some night snorkelling which was great fun as well.
So we are happy to announce that we have selected another special, focusing on "Raja Ampat Shallows"! That will be 2021 January 30 to February 11, and we are putting this out there to all of our followers who are snorkelers or into exploring the shallows on SCUBA. Please send us an email and let us know if you're up to joining us on this one, we have 2 cabins with 4 guests booked so far, the trip is guaranteed and we're looking forward to hear from you!
We'll be ready to work with you also on shallow water photography and film, of course!
Please contact us if you're interested.

"Thanks to all of the Seven Seas staff for making the Komodo excursion wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was good, specially enjoyed the soup in the evening. The snorkeling sites chosen offered a wide variety of viewing so many different kinds of underwater environments. Was able to see something new every day."

Raja Ampat Adventure 2019/2020
By Luc Rooman
It all started with the contest Our World Underwater 2019 where I got the message that my photo "Mating Frogs" was named BEST OF SHOW and winner of 2 weeks Raja Ampat on the Seven Seas - a dream became reality.
From 22 Dec 2019 to 3 Jan 2020 we were aboard the Seven Seas for our adventure. Since it was the first time in Raja Ampat, we had no idea what awaited us. After a few days we knew, this is a diving paradise; we fell from one surprise to the other. The boat, crew and course director Alex were fantastic, not to mention the delicious food that we were served daily.
