We all know that special feeling you step onboard the Seven Seas. It comes from our crew! A crew that has taken over 20 years to recruit. They without a doubt are the biggest part of the magic you feel onboard, as you explore the Indonesian archipelago. It's special because we are in their homeland and they genuinely care about us and really want us to enjoy the time we spend with them onboard.

Due to Covid-19 we have been forced to send most of the crew and office staff home. They have all agreed to a salary sacrifice in order to help us make it through this storm. Most are on less than 50% of their regular salary. We have received not one complaint from anyone during these extremely difficult times.

We wish to continue to support out entire crew as long as possible, but as you might have seen already it looks like international travel to Indonesia won't be possible until the end of this year. This is tough for the Seven Seas as a company but it's even harder for our fantastic Indonesian crew members, most of whom have families to support.

Recently we have been contacted by dedicated guests inquiring if there is any way we could facilitate donations to help the crew look after themselves and their families during these unprecedented times. We tried to set up an account on GoGetFunding but unfortunately their regulations don't allow a bank transfer to a Paypal account in Indonesia.

Until we have found another way we would therefore like to offer you a different solution by asking for a direct bank transfer, preferably via https://transferwise.com/. It's very simple, cheap and safe to use and you can transfer via your bank account or credit card. There are no hidden fees and you are told right at the beginning of the payment process what the fee is. Unlike Paypal they also have very favourable exchange rates.
